Well, it's been a few month's since the last issue, and judging by
the emails I got wondering when the next one would be out, I can tell it was missed! <G> A
combination of things has prevented me from getting a new issue to press, not the least of which
was that evil thing called, "real life," getting in the way of my otherwise idyllic motorcycling
life. And the other factor was a total lack of submitted articles.
The latter was taken care of within the last couple weeks . . . it
appears that if we whine enough, we get folks to submit articles! We'll have to take a mental note
on that one. <WEG> So let me take this opportunity to re-iterate that, although the StarCruiser
is put together by a set staff, the articles are written by you, the ISRA members. <soapbox>Without your
article and Star of the Month submissions, the StarCruiser is literally nothing; you can't have a
newsletter without them!</soapbox>
Having said that, I'd like to address the former issue, that being
my bid'niss (business: life, etc . . . ) getting in the way of the StarCruiser being brought to
press. Thanks to two suckers . . . err, individuals <G> stepping up to the call when I
hollered out a couple months ago, the StarCruiser now has an editorial staff instead of just an
editor. I'd like to welcome Bob Walker and Kevin Haryett to the team. So if you hear me say "we"
when referring to the editorship of the StarCruiser, you'll know that I'm referring to three guys
and not on a megalomaniacal binge of using the royal "We" to refer to myself. Between the three
of us, we should manage to keep the torch lit, and keep bringing out a quality newsletter each
month (so long as we have articles to put in it, that is)
